What it is
The Sunpura S2400 is a true all-in-one home battery. The hybrid inverter, battery, battery management (BMS) and energy management (EMS) are combined in one stackable unit, so there is no separate inverter to buy, wire or warranty. It is built as a modular stack: a Power Box on top of a Battery Box.
Built for South Africa’s tariff reality
As Eskom and municipal tariffs keep climbing, the S2400 lets a home store energy and lean less on the grid, with backup during outages as a bonus. Connect solar panels directly to the two MPPT inputs to charge from the sun during the day, then run on stored power in the evening when tariffs are highest.
Why all-in-one matters
- Inverter included: no separate inverter to source, mount or warranty, and fewer components to go wrong.
- Long cycle life: 8,000 cycles at 70% state of health, and LiFePO4 chemistry is inherently safer than NMC.
- Expandable: start at 2.4 kWh and stack up to 9.6 kWh single phase, or up to 28.8 kWh across three phases, in the same product family.
- Simple to live with: managed from the Sunpura HOME app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Certification
The S2400 carries European and international certification (CE/EMC, RED, LVD, CB, RoHS, REACH, UN38.3, IP65, WEEE, VDE 4105, EN 50549 and more). South African import (NRCS) and grid-connection (NRS 097-2-1) compliance is being completed as part of Sunpura’s market entry, and we make no South African certification or grid feed-in claims until that is in place.
